Journal Entry 5 - a child prodigy

Since I was a tiny shell,
My parents told me that I shouldn’t play with anyone,
We should be far from anybody,
Like separating the earth and the moon.

Whenever I see other people,
They seems to be running as far as they could,
As if they have seen a ghost,
I hate this feeling of loneliness.

I was long for a life of other people,
From my sight, there I saw,
Children laughing, giggling here and there on the playground,
Playing with their friends on the sea-saw.

I long waited for that moment to come,
Oh! Why God? Why are You torturing me like this?
Why do other kids don’t want to play with me?
Am I a total stranger to them?

my angel

The person whom was taking the photograph was me, her aunt, Husna with her phone. I found her adorable when she lay on her stomach and holding the remote control. She is a baby who is at the age nearly to 1 year old. Her name is Nur Insyirah Amani and she is my first, lovable niece that I always cherished. She is wearing an orange and yellow stripes pyjama when the picture was taken. She was in the living room, holding a remote control of Astro, watching her favourite channel of “Astro Ceria.” She even has her hair tied up with a pink bobble (getah rambut) as she has got long hair.

On the right side of her, was her uncle, who is my brother, Faiz. He was sitting on the floor watching her naughty behaviours. At the back of her tiny, little legs is her place to lie down, sleeping and playing with her cute toys. During that time, her mother was busy in the kitchen and her father was having a shower as it was Maghrib time which was at 7.30p.m.

The photograph was taken at her house which is in Kuantan, Pahang. The specific date for the photograph taken was on 26th January 2009. This was the last picture I took when she was at 11 months old and now, she is a 1 year old and 3 months baby girl.

That witchy white shoes...

There I saw on the shelf,
Standing alone calling my name,
Husna, Husna, Husna,
Buy me, buy me, buy me…please…?!!

Her begged voice has made me,
And my heart shattered into broken glassy glasses,
I’ve long wanted to buy her,
But wondering myself, “Do I need her?”

She has got every criteria that I need,
She has got a soft, silky leathered body,
With pinkish read thread sow all around it,
And, it has a smooth, subtle, spongy lining on the inside,
With a red radiant ribbon stitched on the top.

And Yes! The brand that I need, Dolce and Gabbana...

Ahh!! I can feel the blood rushing through my body,
Going faster and faster as I strolled down to her,
And it kept encouraging me to buy it,
Oh! How I long to wonder about it…
I guess I should just…

1) He felt tired.

He pulled a long fatigue face and his body weakens as he walks slowly to his bedroom.

2) She loved him.

His magnificent smile on his face made her wanted to kiss and hug for the rest of her life.

3) They hated one another.
Their faces were all annoyed and furious when they met at school or even at home especially at the dinner
table.

4) Their children were bored.
They sighed and tensed listening to their parents’ lectures then turned away with their long livid faces.

5) Grandmother came home drunk.
She walks through the dark pathway, swaying and moving clumsily and uncertainly, that is John’s hippy grandmother.

Which character I am?

Her bed was uncomfortable but still she likes sleeping on it. It has big, rat-looking holes and springs coming out from it and still she doesn’t care about it. That is Samantha’s bed. It has been honoured to her since she was 5 years old and now, she is 18 years old already. Her life always full of misery since her parents got crashed in an accident, as she grows up with her nasty, unfriendly aunt.

Her room is furnished with shaky, hard-wooden chair, a small study table with a broken, cracked table lamp’s lid beside it and also with her happy times photos with her family. But her room smells like in heaven. There is a vase of white roses with potpourri by the windows and the colours of the walls are calm too as it is her favourite colour, light orange. She always has been the neatest and tidiest person since she was born. Her books on the shelves are kept neatly with alphabetical orders, her bed being tucked-in, the arrangement of disappointing furniture are in the best positions also her clothes, which are not a lot are kept tidy in her closet. Her one pair of torn shoes which is behind the door is and always has been her favourite to wear at any place even in school.

Her one and only best friend has always been her enormous story book which is by Charles Dickens. She mostly read it by her table lamp as the light in her room is quite dim but she likes that way as she feels the calmness and peace in her lonely room.

the grass is always greener on the other side

“The grass is always greener on the other side”. That’s what people always say when someone felt sad, upset and disappointed.

Mostly, this happens when someone felt themselves to be unlucky in certain things such as they have been broken up in a relationship, disappointed when they didn’t achieve in something they loved doing and someone who they lost or passed away whom they could not forget.

The quote usually came up whenever we feel this way as this quote is related to feelings of someone. Actually, this quote is a positive quote to say whenever we feel down in any sad or disappointing situations. It means that we need to refer and think through the positive way instead of thinking the sadness we are having. As you can think, whenever we feel depressing, we could not just continue with feeling depressed, we need to refer on the happy side which makes you feel more excited and amazing in yourself.

I’m saying this based on the experience I had when my grandmother had passed away two years ago. Until now, I still remember her and could not forget every of the enjoyable and special moments we had together as a family. When she passed away, I was surprised and cried for whole two days until she got buried. I was told by my mother to always be cheerful as she wouldn’t want to see us family crying and sad. So, the quote “the grass is always greener on the other side” does relate to me.
